MOTHER

“Love & all about love is preserved in the heart of a mother”
(An article dedicated to my sweet mother – Ali Hamza)

When everything started to think about the word ‘self’ and strive to live in the search of life, there was only one person who fed her baby from his early birth. She kept in her womb, bore the pain to give life to her baby. What else she did for her baby?

When a baby opens his eyes, he starts crying. It feels that he was so much secured in staying inside womb of his mother. But only birth can realize the pain of sacrifice that starts with the growth of the baby. How this pain turns into happiness to your mother when she listens the word ‘mother’ from her child. She forgets everything when she sees her child scrambling to hug her and kiss on her face. What should she do more for her baby?

When her child is crying with a fever, she wakes up to see the way to get her baby free from any pain that makes him restless in the nights. She forgets to rest and take any food for herself just to see her baby is not starving and having any pain of hunger.  She wants him to grow up and teach her to make him civilized and keep pushing him in the failure of his life. She encourages because she doesn’t want to see a single tear in the eyes of her child. Every time asking him to find anything her child wants to have, just to keep him happy and smiling. What else we want from her?

She hides her tears to see the joy in the eyes of his child, every time looking for her child to come back and listen him the stories of his day which he spent without her. She worries about the moment, she would see any problem in the life of her child. She loves and gives all about love to his child, no one is there for you always but your MOTHER in this world, she is the gift of love of the God in itself.

Children's Day

Understand your Child

The development of the baby starts from the 4th week when the sperm transforms into an organism. The mother is the custodian of the baby till the development process.

The baby starts observing things from the womb of mother, baby observes the sound and movements and reacts accordingly by moving the arms or legs. The most care should be taken during the pregnancy period, proper diet & rest provides him healthy growth in that stage.

After the birth of a baby more care is to be taken, especially caring about the diet and health issues. Although this is the infant stage but still baby goes through many developments in the body. When a baby cries, we usually think that baby is hungry but the reason could be the factor of fear or sudden change of environment.

Sometimes we probably notice that baby use to cry meeting new people or when the baby is taken out from the environment of which he/she is use to.

At this stage we notice the attachment of child is bonded with the person who takes care of child when he/she cries.

After age of year one, the period of toddling comes in the life of a baby. This is the age when child get used to the faces and start responding to them. That is the period when baby strive to explore the things. We can see babies around us of the same age who are very exploring even if we stop them, they would go for the same thing to explore the result. This is the start of the age when baby starts crawling to get hold the things by themselves and try to walk. This period goes upto age of three when baby completely starts walking and balancing his body to move forward.

Although some children keep growing and even stay healthy but proper checkups should be made, to see whether growth of your baby is underway. Unbalanced diet, lack of concentration, infectious harm and wounds could be more dangerous sometimes to the growth period for your baby.
This is the age when your baby starts observing things, baby starts learning things and then reacts accordingly. Sometimes babies get cried over unusual things, the reason could be any specially the lack of concentration because in that age baby needs more attentions of parents.

Give your baby the chance to observe different things with you because this age is more concerned towards the mental ability for your child.

Sometimes you can notice them doing same things as you do while they observe you. Your emotions, facial gestures and sounds can make them all understand your feelings and teach them what they should be learned. This period leads through the pre schooling age of the child. The children start copying your words even they respond what you try to ask them.

When your baby comes to age of 4-6 years, there comes the period of pre schooling. The mind is 90% developed at that stage, it is said that in this age baby learns so quickly and efficiently. Never stop your children doing things in which they take interest and give them chance to express their feelings. At the same stage, you should start building good moral of your child. Ask them to do something for you, show your emotions on their work and try to tell them the right way of doing things because at this stage, the way they do becomes nature of your children.  So avoid teaching them bad things even do not expect anything extra ordinary from them.

Children like social gathering so always try to socialize your child and provide gathering of their age. Get your child familiarize with team work, help them in meeting with new children. Introducing your child with other children by their name, helps them understand how to meet with others.

You should always try to develop a polite behavior among children, tell them what should they do and how to make friends all around. At that stage you can direct them, the way they should do their work.

Try to develop some good habits in your child, like eating healthy food. Most important in the development of your child is good diet which is full of nutrition. Eating food at right time is also very important while eating healthy food. Give your child balance diet, vegetables are good choice. Children like soft drinks so give them good drink made of milk, water or fruits.

Children develop their own taste in food, for example some children may like to eat vegetables other may like chicken, beef etc. Ask your child of meal which they like to eat by giving them a choice of healthy foods.

Developing winning attitude among your children is to make them successful in life. Children like playing games, give them the chance to struggle for themselves. Sometime you play with your child and you lose and sometimes you win, it gives them chance to learn both success and failure in life. Never expect from your child to always be the winner rather give them the attitude of winners.

Give them chance to learn different games because it gives chance of learning more than anything in their life. Teach your child the rules of games and ask them to perform well in games and maintain good ethics in their activities.

Develop a good habit of sleeping early and taking proper rest in your child. Try to develop the habit of listening good stories before sleeping which develops a good attitude of understanding things, parent sometimes use different stories in building moral values of their children.

This is true that sometimes reading books before sleeping is more useful than reading books in classroom. Your child processes the things, they do before sleeping in their dreams which makes their mind more innovative.

Ask your children about their activities, pay attentions towards their study. Help them in their school works, check their report and results. Some child feels hesitation while sharing things with their parent because they afraid of the attitude of their parent. Feel your child like friends and ask them about their problems.

Children feel better, finding support of their parents. In fact these things motivate them to do best and share the things with their parent. Always reward your children when they show you the good results.

Children like playing with pet animals. They see them doing different things which make them feel different and happy. Some parent give their child different pets, children make them friends and play with them. Children like their pet following them and obeying them which give happiness and excitement.

Always look after your child while playing with pets, sometimes it makes them cruel to harm and beat his/her pets. They should be learned the way they behave with their pet animals and how should they feed them properly.

Every child goes to feel through some questions in his/her life. These could be the:

Why should I go to school?
              Why things are different?
       Why can’t I get this?
       Why can’t I do this?
       What is happening?
       Is it my fault?

Try to ask your children if they’re going through these entire questions and find out the answers. Help them solving their problems and don’t stress them to feel all unwanted things of their life.

Keep your child out of your personal disputes, they are very sensitive. Your child observes the disturbance of your life, don’t feel them all to face the problems of your personal disputes.

These things bring unrest in their life which brings hatter and injustice in them. They start avoiding their parent and social gatherings, sometimes they go through complexities and annoyance. So never let your child feel all these bad experiences of your life. Help them resolving these things by showing your care and affections towards your children.

Child abusing is another problem face by the children which causes unrest and pressures in their life. Don’t abuse them rather treat them with love and care and ask if they are facing any problem in their life.

Some child feels alone without their parents, feel them bad and lack the confidence in their life. Don’t leave your child alone, try to spend more time with your child and get them along with yourself. Meeting with new people brings confidence in their life.

Some children get bored with their routine life, they don’t like to do home works and start ignoring things. In this case don’t leave them alone or never threaten them because at this time they need your consultation.

Ask what things feel them bored, if they are facing any trouble in solving problems of their life. This could be the reason of lack of interest, children who play with football may not like to be a doctor. So interest of children decides the field of his life if you want them study medical then try to show the benefits of this field and bring their interest towards science from their early stages.

Listen to your child, never stop them sharing things with you. If you stop them sharing things, it may cause lack of confidence in them. Ask them what problem they have or if anything disturbs them. The children may ask for unfair thing, just listen to them, ask them the reason and if they’re on their right then try to get them. If you find it unethical/ unfair then give them the reason they would face. Try to make them understand all things for which they are forcing you.

Keep your child away from bad experiences of life, for example watching horrible movies, war movies & fights. Providing your children with those toys that turns their mind into ill perceptions can lead your children to wrong way.
Teach your children about the right use of things, guide them while watching those things that need to be explained. Show your dislike to your children of those things which are the evils of the society. Describe them their bad practices and avoid using them.

Keep your children away from the evils of life, like smoking and other things which can harm them. Sometime child practices these things by observing their elders, this is true in many cases. Children need care, you can help them by explaining the bad habits.
Many studies shows that bad habits start developing into personality from the early stage, the big reason is the company they keep. Don’t abuse them on these things but try to explain them the harms of using all these things could create their mind avoiding all things you dislike in your child.

Children need care and love of their parent, they need social gatherings. Help your children by understanding their psychology of mind is more effective in building their good character. Eliminate the boundaries and let them free by giving them guidelines for the good life.

You will forget everything when you see a smile on face of your child.
